Meet Farha
Farha has more than two decades of experience in Health Care Information Technology, and believes deeply in community service and education. She was born into a tight-knit, middle-class family of educators in a suburb of Hyderabad, India. Farha moved to the United States in pursuit of higher education after finishing as Valedictorian of her high school.
She and her husband – both Computer Scientists – married in 1997, and moved to Kansas to start a family. Together, they have raised 3 wonderful children. For over a decade, she has co-led a Greater KC-area food drive with Harvesters. Farha also worked 2 years as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for her daughter. She is active in the Interfaith community, which stands in solidarity with people of all faiths.
Let’s elect a Trustee to:
– Mentor women into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.)
– Provide private sector insights on Health Care and Information Technology.
– Help students of all socioeconomic backgrounds succeed and prosper.
– Understand and reflect the minority student experience.
– Budget carefully, steward JCCC resources, read every contract.
